Gerald Simon

Founder and Senior Partner of Simon & Simon Financial, Gerald Simon holds the Charted Life Underwriter® designation. A Chartered Life Underwriter® is a financial professional with extensive knowledge of life insurance. He is also an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with Simon & Simon Wealth Management. As an IAR, Gerald offers his client’s investment advice focused on his client’s best interests. He graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern State University with a B.S. in accounting and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi’s national Honor Society. After completing his degree, he accepted a position as an auditor with Deloitte and Touché, an international Certified Public Accounting firm.

Gerald’s 55+ years in the financial services industry gives him a unique perspective in the ever-changing world of investment planning. He is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals, the second-oldest association for financial professionals in the world. Over the years, Gerald has served as a guest speaker for the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, The Covington Bar Association, The Slidell Bar Association, and The Southern Medical Association. He has been a guest lecturer at Charity Hospital School of Nursing and motivational speaker for the Million Dollar Round Table, where he was one of the group’s youngest members ever in 1966. Additionally, Gerald has served on the Presidential Advisory Councils for Security Life of Denver and Lowry Financial Services Corporation of Florida.

For decades, Gerald has made it his mission to grow and protect the assets of his clients through his extensive experience and technical expertise. He believes his vast experience in the industry and the firm’s multi-generational intelligence combines a modern approach with traditional knowledge when evaluating investment and retirement strategies.
