Senior Partner of Simon & Simon Financial, Grant Simon is a retirement specialist, former structured settlement broker and insurance producer. He has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and specializes in the areas of qualified retirement plans, tax-deferred investments and estate planning.
Grant studied International Business at the University of New Orleans and has earned numerous awards throughout his career including the Crystal Sun Award 2006, Aviva Top Producers Award 2011 and Aviva Elite Agent Award 2012. He is a member of the Court of the Table – Million Dollar Round Table, was a top 10 producer in the U.S. with Sun Life Financial, and has been a guest lecturer for both the Covington Bar Association and the Slidell Bar Association. Moreover, he has provided continuing legal education to members of the Trial Lawyers’ Association of Louisiana on the financial challenges faced by injured plaintiffs when receiving settlement funds.
He has experienced two recessions since the inception of his career, and has since acquired a deep understanding of the importance of mitigating preventable risk when developing investment strategies. Having witnessed the great impact of these events, Grant’s ultimate goal as a financial advisor is to provide clients with the ability to invest their assets devoid of unnecessary risk. He provides his clients with plans that aim to accomplish their needs and objectives, giving them the confidence they need when preparing for their retirement.
